Well. If Nintnedo follows their old plans for SSB games... _original_ Super Smash Bros. Nintendo 01/21/99 JP Super Smash Bros. Nintendo 04/26/99 US Super Smash Bros. Nintendo 11/19/99 EU Seven month period. _Melee_ Dairantou Smash Brothers DX Nintendo 11/21/01 JP Super Smash Bros. Melee Nintendo 12/02/01 US Super Smash Bros. Melee Nintendo 05/24/02 EU Super Smash Bros. Melee Nintendo 05/31/02 AU Now. That's going into past tense. Let's look at Twilight Princess. Something a tad more recent. =) The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess Nintendo 11/19/06 US The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess Nintendo 12/02/06 JP The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess Nintendo 12/07/06 AU The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess Nintendo 12/08/06 EU Less than a month for a Wii game. *goes to other Wii games now* Super Paper Mario - TBA for Europe. =( Metroid Prime 3 - TBA Europe Pokemon Battle Revolution - They don't even have a date for that. I didn't list Super Mario Galaxy because it's TBA for everywhere. Let Twilight Princess be your stream of hope for a close to date release date. But just because that was, don't expect it to be there sooner. If it follows the old pattern. You guys will get Brawl 3 months after us. Luckily that's expected to change a lot. =)

I like your point LDA. I can see a pattern that is occuring. But what i dont see is why it happens. What is so different between the two languages:
English (USA) English (UK and Ireland)
The languages are all most identical. No need to translate. So why do we wait 3 months for the same game in the same language?
Btw, does anyone know when Mario Party 8 was released in japan?

Both US and Japan has TBA 2007 already so at least those 2 releases has to come close (unless it gets delayed >_>) Hopefully they will say europe is also TBA 2007 (maybe at E3), but i'm afraid we'll first get it sometime in 2008 =/

Actually we get alot of games before Japan. Or at least the US does. Although probably not as many as they get before us.
*points at the new MSCF again which is one of the rare games that is/was first released in europe* ^_^

Is there any kind of pattern showing, whether a game will be released in USA or Europe first?

I don't think there is phazon. I suppose they give europe one big game first if america just got another. Like with MSCF which is the first online game. There US had almost just gotten pokemon diamond/pearl. We can be pretty sure ssbb will still get out last in europe though because it is not even TBA 2007 yet

It's gunna be hard not to watch vids on Youtube. If Youtube still exists at the time. All I hear about Youtube these days are complaints. Youtube is getting worse by the second >_>. In the time it took me to write this, Youtube got 4 times worse
