But it's still worth putting on since there aren't any EM vids for the site yet.

But it's still worth putting on since there aren't any EM vids for the site yet. I think PYh189 do have vids of all his PRs in EM, and since most of his PRs there are WRs i would assume he has that 27xx score on vid...

I Just noticed that you added the 3mm vids now. I took a quick glance at the ones that were uploaded and i know i have made better vids for falco and ganon. I have a couple of vids i will take look at them now and upload those that are better than the ones on the site Edit: Ok this is what i got right now. I think i'll try out 3mm and 100mm again soon. Falco: 171 Jiggs: 170 Ganon: 187 These are pretty old and because i was so used to 60hz i couldn't really shine- and L-cancel very well (I can do both without troubles in both herz now though). I will upload them tomorrow

>Crono Thanks! Yeah, just backwalk past the ECT guard, its really easy. You could also skip the moon tear by backflipping onto the platform, and also you could get past the ice without a bow. Whoever does the next run should be able to save like 15 minutes.
>Stelzig I just happened to visit the mkds site lol

Yeah, Dragorn did it in his 6DC run to get 1000 rupees from Termina Field during the 1st 3 days. Just backwalk past the left side of the guard; his spear gives you enough of an opening to squeeze past.

I guess my Link 3MM 184 KOs video beats the current one, so here it is. rapidshare.de/files/24512637/Link_3MM.wmv.htmlIf you'd like a higher quality video pyh, I would be happy to upload one. I'd rather not make anything of a lower quality than the current one, though, as at that point it gets sort of choppy. Also, the Luigi 3MM link doesn't work.

Oops, I forgot to upload the luigi vid >_>
As for the vid, interesting beginning, I liked how it set you up for the Up Bs.
The vid is 15.9 mb right now. To me, that seems pretty big. You said that a lower quality version would make it more choppy? How come that happens? That means it would have to drop frames, which usually doesn't happen using windows media codecs (VBR). Does that mean your higher quality version isn't as choppy? If it isn't, I would prefer the higher quality version, but I think I could shrink that to about 10 mb without making it choppy.
Sorry, my space is limited...=\
Edit: Aha. I see it. Your audio is 320 kbps >_>;;; I think you could tone up the video bit rate and make the audio a lot lower. Something like 400/64 or 450/64 will be just as good.

Just made a 183 doc vid (One of the frames got a starman in this run and i only got 1 KO during the last 5 seconds ._.) Also made 185 mario vid (PR), but i can see it isn't good enough :/ I will start uploading some 3mm vids soon My total is now 4321 xD

The video above I don't consider all that choppy. It was when I made it lower than that, that it got bad. Now, to describe my situation. My original file is a 200 MB MPEG-2. In order for me to use Windows Movie Maker or Windows Media Encoder, I have to export it to a WMV through ATI's Media Library. Using WMM with the original doesn't work because MPEG-2 is not supported, and using WME with the original always causes it to crash. Now, upon your suggestion that I find a way to lower the audio bit rate, I put that video I posted above through WMM, and it managed to lower the audio bit rate to 459 kbs (the old was actually 713 kbs) while keeping the same video bit rate of 386 kbs, producing a file of 10.1 MB. Also, I tried putting through WMM a different exported version and got an 11.5 MB file with a 521 kbs audio bit rate and a 447 kbs video bit rate. Edit: It seems Treklink's videos are incredibly similar to this setting, so I'm going to upload this in a minute, as you seem to be using those. Here: rapidshare.de/files/24575613/Link_3MM-2.wmv.htmlUsing Windows Media Encoder, I only got worse results, as no matter what I did, it wouldn't properly lower the audio bit rate. The problem occurred with both CBR and VBR.

pyh189, you said that your space for videos is limited. Do you have a specific limit on file sizes? I've started making 15-minute melee videos, and they weigh in at about 58MB each. I can probably downsample them to under 50 megs, but I'm not sure how much smaller I can go without sacrificing loads of quality.

Well actually space isn't really a problem because I can get more, but bandwidth is. Right now I have 100 gb of bw each month, and it doesn't look like I'll be getting more, despite the growing number of visitors. I think I started out with only 30 gb after moving to the new .be domain, and since then, I asked for more bw repeatedly.
As far as 15MM videos are concerned, no offense, but I definitely will not and really doubt that anyone else will download a 50 mb file filled with 15 minutes of boredom. I don't want to upload 50 mb either. Besides, it will take up way too much space, bandwidth (if anyone downloads it), and downloading time. If anyone downloads it, I bet he would watch only a few minutes of it to get the general strategy.
What Thieum did and what I think you should do is edit the video and only show different parts here and there, for only about a minute or so. That way, the file will be small, but just as effective as all 15 minutes since people will still know your general strategy.

You should probably make the video include all parts where something important happened, such as getting (or losing) a fan/screw attack, and the last 30 seconds or so.
