im making a table inside the table of the forums so that there are two layers of background

the nnns on the top and bottom were so that i could see the parameters. when i changed it to red, it was so that i could see what areas i was working with

did a few things for you IE people, including the scrollbar, and i made the text boxes and buttons look nicer. also fixed forum width now so you can see the green background on all sides on all pages.

the table is set to a ratio of 1% of the browser's display on both sides, and its set in the global heading... so it should be the same on every page. why it isnt on those pages makes absolutely no sense...

i did some more today

well, for one, i completely obliterated the old top part. i didnt like it. i replaced it with a banner, and i replaced the ugly old links up there with nicer, cleaner, text links. imo this looks much cleaner and less like proboards and more like its own creation. what are your thoughts?

you might also notice that everyone can see the administration area... however, upon clicking said link, you will be denied unless you really do have administrative powers (me, NA, pyh so far).

this will also allow me to put OTHER links up there besides the ones offered by proboards. as of yet i am uncertain what i should add, if any.

also note that logout is displayed at the top even if you arent logged in

login area/create new account is displayed at the bottom of the main page as usual

i will see if i can find a way to make logout displayed only if youre logged in... its a rather minor problem yet still, i seek perfection with this site.

and there seems to be a mild glitch that messes up the tables sometimes in topics for seemingly no reason. to fix, just refresh, but ill try to see the cause of this.
