doesn't mean it outdoes the stadium in melee. Quality > Quantity In my opinion.Yes it does. More stages emans you're less likely to be bored. And the effort put into Brawl was phenomenal, you can't say they didn't try in this game. The quality is pure and priceless. Melee had 25 different Target Test stages. Brawl has 5 different Target Test Stages. Personally, I agree that effort was put in, but, they tried too hard in certain areas and screwed it up, and some areas they didn't try hard enough. Some bits remain solid though (Online Play). And I refuse to make a judgement such as "The quality is pure and priceless" untill I own and have played the game. Looking at the cover of the newer Sonic games makes the games look better than they are. And as for jerry3333's comment ... Thats just your opinion. I see maxed strats for all characters before the end of the year, If players try hard enough. And the items only make it worse ...

I don't get it, why should Nintendo bother making "epic" games like this when all gamers do is b.itch about it(that wasn't directed at you). People have to think more about the good aspects then the bad ones. So what if they've only added 5 BtT stages, you're able to play them with every character, so what are people moaning about? They've added alot to this game, but all I've heard are bad things. I'm sure it's not as bad as some people arse saying it is.

and who here never wanted to try mismatch? Seriously, I really like to see which char would do the best time xD
and if you don't want any items, play on level 1 and 4.

I don't think anyone has said this game is necessarily bad. The target smash is inferior though IMO. On level 1, there are not many significantly different strategies. Level 2 all the strats are very similar because of the items. Same for level 3. I haven't played level 4 and 5 much, but many of the strats look the same. No idea about level 5, but I used the same strat for all the characters. In melee there were 25 completely different strats. If you wanted to play mismatch, all you had to do was get AR. Obviously not everyone can do that, but I think anyone who seriously says that they would prefer 5 stages for everyone rather than 1 specially designed stage for each character is kidding themselves.
On the other hand, the game is fun, and I'm not taking that away from it. It is lacking in many areas that melee wasn't though. The best 3 things about brawl IMO are new characters, stage builder, and online play (only vs friends, vs anyone is terrible).

Heck, my opinion doesn't matter. I absolutely agree with 1221, I think that 1 stage that is different for each character is better than 5 shared among the entire 35 roster cast. Most people love this idea, but I believe it to be either
1. Pure Laziness 2. They were in a rush to meet release dates, and making 5 duplicates is much faster than creating 1 per character
And again, 1221 is correct In what he says. Lvl 1 has no items, but most characters will be similar in one way. Lvl 2, 35 characters share the same strat. Lame. Lvl 3 looked fun to start with, but as LDA reminded me, It's becoming like Lvl 2, all strats becoming similar. Lvl 4 has no items, but again, it reminds me of Doc Btt (with the last target you have to wait to get it) as most of the targets are inconveniently hidden in the ice. Lvl 5 looks ok, but most of the strats I've seen of that are identical.
Unlike in melee, since everyone had a different layout, not 1 strat was similar. And no items. <3
I also heard that HRC has been messed up, pressing A to do an Air attack sometimes grabs the bat. Thats Nintendo trying to eliminate Bat Drops btw. They failed. lol
Melee HRC wasn't that fun to me, but at least it was fun to watch Marth1 and Sin release new videos, I certainly enjoyed watching them.
I also heard that the Multi-Man Brawl mode lacks playability. In Cruel Brawl, most strats involve getting the frames to suicide. Whereas in Cruel Melee, it was almost always different for every character.
Like I said, Online Looks like fun. You might see me on there from time to time. But I'm not liking the sound or look of stadium, from what I've heard and from what I've been told.

2. They were in a rush to meet release dates, and making 5 duplicates is much faster than creating 1 per character I don't think I have to say anything, there weren't this many delays in a game since Twilight Princess. I can find millions of reasons to prove your theory wrong.

Lol. I'm not going to win this.
I don't care If you can prove my statement wrong. Just go along with your beliefs on how amazing brawl will be on this one, ignore all I say, while I sit here annoyed by the countless and unnessecary nerfs.
Wait, why would I sit here? I have other things to do. <_<

I think you didn't see many lvl 4 videos, SoS =) every one that is not 20.xx are without waiting for that target down/right. and as you can see, 3/4 of the scores are sub 20 seconds.

No one will agree with me on this.
Melee + More Stadium + Online = Win
Melee was perfect. I have little thought of this taking it's place.

Seriously?
Well, in a way I don't mind people telling us it's not as good as melee. At least I won't be dissappointed when I get to play it.
Hope we get a release date soon. =(

Is anyone having problems with the All is Brawl site? There seems to be an error with the server for me.

No one will agree with me on this. Melee + More Stadium + Online = Win Melee was perfect. I have little thought of this taking it's place. I agree. Brawl completely screwed up HRC, really badly. It's just a case of 'ABUSE THE BARRIERS' instead of proper BD tactics.

i rather prefer to see a barrier based taktik instead of one based on lots of bds. now for btt i gotta admit that i'd prefer 35 individual stages instead of the five. i can definitely say (and i think most of us would agree) that you get lost in the 175 possibilities in btt and you dont really know where to start playing. at first it can be quite annoying but in time i believe people are happy to have that many possibilities so btt can't get boring for a long time; and NO the strategies aren't the same AT ALL , at least for lv4. i think 1221 is right with lv2 but for the others i really dont feel like they are all the same. even the ones with quite similar routes aren't the same and i dont find myself thinking "not again this boring nuts". if you watch the videos you might get used to the routes but it's always a different feeling for each character

Apparently the game is coming out either on April 30th or May 1st. Apparently.
HRC is screwed up because of L-cancel, barriers are a good alternative to meteor BDs but they get too frustating sometimes. I liked it more in SSBM, even if that was some pain of fastness.
TT is good, but I am not interested in it anymore from few years. Yeah, I find the difficult thing crap, but Target Test is always good, no matter how it is.
Stages are all so similar... some ones are very good though (Mario Bros. anyone?). Bad choices for Melee stages.

Stop discussing the release date, non-importing Europeans. (Are there any other Europeans out there other than I and Astr0 who hasn't imported this game?)
Yeah. Run off and play Mario Kart Wii.
Did I mention the online on Mario Kart Wii is much better than the online of Brawl?

I did see this quite a few days ago. However, remember they changed the US release date 4 times? Yeah. Don't put too much hope into it, but at least we get a rough date. (And I think that all the Europeans have imported the game, so no one cares about the European release date <_<)

you are European, right? You didn't import the game, right?
so you see, not all Europeans has import the game >_>
but the US date didn't change after the game was release in Japan..

Thats 1 European who didn't import the game. 1. 1. 1. The majority of Europeans have imported either the Japanese or American versions. So the release date doesn't matter to many, as you either already have the game, or imported it. I am In no rush to buy this game. Now that I have actually played the game, I'm in no hurry. Its not a must-buy game. And that is true. But you can't compare that to this. They have to translate all the text, remove any bugs, nerf certain characters for no particular reason ... the list goes on.

but I know many Europeans that does not have the game, and that wants it so bad
