Kirby: 2560 - i think i will go for the WR here soon. He's a tough little guy. I think i died at 280% (Including last hit which was a frame throwing the party ball at me and then it exploded...) Marth: 1957 (I wanted 2K ) THS: 33775

Try a better Jiggs run and you'll get that 35k I think i'll change the first post to WRs. ^^ EDIT: Stelzig, I bet you could get a new Samus WR.

^I probably can beat the samus WR, but since you have to KO 4 frames before the rest respawns every so often (not to mention the items) then it is hard to do an immobilization strat. I have one using the weak missiles, but i don't think it would do better than a "normal" strat Marth: 3843 (Almost double'd my old score... I will try to improve it again. That 11K WR is pretty impressive O.o) Total: 35973

Nice Marth Stelzig I`ve just 2.3k (I think^^) But I found a nice Zelda immo-strat, but I`m too lazy to try it seriously. I just tried it once and got 1553 KO`s and died with 80%, cause a bomb came exactly in that frame I up-tilt`ed Anyway, I`ll try it seriously when I`m sub 47min in 100MM^^

Couldn't you just use the immo strat from cruel for Samus? Except the Charge Beam would KO in 1 shot..

I think that would just work on NTSC because there would be 3 Frames on the top platform. And instead of doing that weak-missle thing I guess the normal SA strat is best, at least for PAL...

^So you don't have those "4 KOs" moments in NTSC? Man. I could get 65535 with samus in endless so easily then. Not even pokéballs would be a problem because the poke/cloak targeter frame is also on my targeted platform =/ Nice Marth Stelzig I`ve just 2.3k (I think^^) But I found a nice Zelda immo-strat, but I`m too lazy to try it seriously. I just tried it once and got 1553 KO`s and died with 80%, cause a bomb came exactly in that frame I up-tilt`ed Anyway, I`ll try it seriously when I`m sub 47min in 100MM^^ Could you explain your immo-strat? I already have one for zelda (Also the one i used for my PR), the only problem with it is these d**n pokéballs and of course also the random explosives appearing just as you attak (sometimes even after, but still gets hit because of zelda's longlasting moves...). Mine: Start up with sheik. Get to the immo position, KO the right platform frame, TiltUpA the middle(female) frame so that it falls forward and lands on the right edge of the middle platform. If you don't suceed then try again with a later female frame. When you get the middle frame to land on the right side of the middle platform, switch to zelda. NeutralA the right platform frame so that it either falls to the middle platform or the left platform. If it lands on the left platform, use dins fire to KO it and NA it again. When it lands on the middle platform you can start just using din's fire on the 2 frames on the left platform. At the point where the frames stop respawning you KO the middle platform and the right platform frame with din's fire. Use NA on the right platform frame and repeat that strat. ^^ Couldn't you just use the immo strat from cruel for Samus? Except the Charge Beam would KO in 1 shot.. I already told you in my last post that the frames doesn't always respawn. Sometimes you have to KO all except 1 before they will respawn in endless. The first times this happens is at 16. When you get 16 KOs there will only be 2 frames on the course until one of them dies. I often use that situation to herd the frames until i get the fan or the screw attack You would need to use the weak homing missiles in order to create a functioning immo strat with samus in endless. And that is pretty hard. The only characters i have decent immo strats for are: Zelda, ness, link and young link... A couple of more could probably apply if we used the infinite super scope Edit: I just reached 1K with marth with "only" 22% lost. And those 22% were all lost from 1 frame grabbing a star (not the starman, but the kirby-star ) -_-

if a pokeball appears just block it with neutral b and if they throw it on the bottom, pray that a sucky pokemon will appear^^ My beginning is a little different: Start with Zelda, roll twice to the right platform, 2 (or 3) neutral a. Then you should be in the situation to make your strat either, its just a little faster ... I can also make a vid tomorrow if you want.
Edit: and for Samus it works on NTSC because you can just grab-beam, or however its called, the top frames...

Oh. That's right. the beam would make it easier. But still making more troubles. And about pokéballs i was more focusing on the fact that it often unfreezes that specific frame >_>
And of course unown pretty much also manage to deal out at least 50% on one way or another ._.
I think zelda and ness are the only really good immo players in endless (Perhaps young link, i have a decent strat with him too). The only problem with zelda is the neutralA which often hits an explosive. So many runs ruined because of that >_>

I`ll go for at least 5k in the holidays, because I found a way to kill EVERYONE with fwd-b, so its no risk to get raped by something explosive. It just takes a little longer =/ For Ness, hmm, I personally prefer SA because they can`t get pokeballs... And his range with the fan is pretty low I should work on Ness a little bit too .... my score is 1.1k I think^^

Nice fox ;D Beat my 2045 Edit: And thanks for the vid. It's loading now ^.^ Edit2: So you just let the bottom frame remain unfreezed? That would complicate it more to me. Also making it impossible to dodge the pokeball sometimes =/

Post by SW on Mar 25, 2007 7:09:50 GMT -5
its alot easier that way because if a pokeball appears, just fwd-b the top left one first while the bottom frame comes up to you, if its a female utilt her, if its a male neutral a him... they don`t even have time to throw the pokeball that way! And hitting the bottom frame is just a question of timing. well, to me its much easier and safer... =)

Post by stelzig on Mar 25, 2007 7:56:55 GMT -5
Hitting the bottom frame is not a problem, but since the bottom frame doesn't stand still you cannot keep that one on hold and therefore it always has to be first priority and that means that at those times where all 3 appears simultanously the upperleft frame has an open go at getting the pokeball and because of the bottom frame aiming at you, you cannot even do the neutralB attack to dodge the thrown pokeball.

Just got to 9xx with mario with 0% and then i edgegrabbed, pressed down and jumped below the platform. Died with 0% -_- Right after i try again and get to 3xx with 0% damage and then i get KO'd by one single porygon2 >_>
Not i'm on my third try at 1xx with 2%. Hopefully some i can get some good run again this time. I was really on a roll with that 9xx. Was so frustrating x(

I know what you feel. In my Peach 1593 run I died with 30%, because that b**** didn`t grabbed the edge >_> Just keep on trying ... someday you`ll get a good run with every char =)
