I don't much like the idea of Sonic in Brawl. Blech!

Stop dissing Sonic. Sonic is the coolest. Except not as zoompie as Alucard from SotN.

Run off the edge CONTINUALLY. B. They would slow him down, which would be rubbish. Besides, hes "not on the cards" at the moment. ;D

I can haelp wondering how they will make the fighting feel different from Melee, otherwise it would be like playing the same game again. >_> I hope they won't change it. I would rather just have a complete remake of ssbm with online features than a bunch of new fancy features (other than online obviously) and characters with a messed up gameplay. I don't like the idea of sonic in brawl either btw...

Not really. He would be alright but lets face it, he just does'nt fit in. And hes not really a fighter, either.

You know nothing SoS! J/K
@sos: I respect your opinion but don't you find SSBM a bit shallow after a while? With the same features in the game it will make it even more shallow. Of course, I'm with you all the way with keeping BtT in, but I hope they change each players stage.

I personally don't think they should change the gameplay. The fighting is very well done and only needs minor tweaking IMO. They need to get rid of glitches/attempt to make the characters even. The biggest additions should be new characters/stages/mini games. If there is btt, they will definitely have new stages.

With ALL the same features + Online play + More characters + More stages + Better music + More in-depth single player mode + Better graphics Surely thats enough for you? Doesnt sound shallow to me. All the above is being added. I want it to play exactly the same as melee, only that brawl will have more to do. I'd have to disagree. Brawl will not be shallow.

It's nice with those features, and the game probably won't be shallow, but I still think the fighting style would beed to change.
How would you know if it has a more in-depth single player mode?
only that brawl will have more to do.
agreed

How would you know if it has a more in-depth single player mode? Nintendo official magazine. I know these things, clearblu Infact, i have a lot of knowledge on brawl. ;D What do you mean, the fighting style would need to change? Melee has a fantastic fighting style, and brawl will follow on.Why just change a great game into something that is COMPLETE rubbish, for no apparent reason?

Like I said to you today, they should change the moves, not the fighting style.

Like I said to you today, they should change the moves, not the fighting style. Well that's not really the same thing as i thought i heard you say the first time. I don't mind if they did that (I wouldn't really mind if they didn't either). This we already know is going to happen to a degree though. First of all it happened from ssb to ssbm (not with all moves) and we have already seen the special brawl attack and that mario for example seems to have a combination of his ADA and downB (Trailer). We also know that the game speed is different and the strength of different moves will probably also change a little (there's even a difference in this between PAL and NTSC) which could lead to new combos (also a kind of new attacks) so there will definently be plenty of new addition to the fighting in that way. It's not really important to me (As i said i actually just want a remake of ssbm with online and i'm happy), but i still expect some changes to happen since sakurai wants the game to be as balanced as possible.

I do mind a little. Changing moves would make it seem like a [glow=red,2,300]Random[/glow]game. Stelzig: Would you feel disappointed if mario's tornado (down and b) changed and instead it was a ground pound or something? That is what clearblu meant. And i think it sucks.

No, and i realise that is what he meant >_> But if he gets a ground pound then they should also change yoshi's and bowsers downB. Don't want too many groundpound characters

Sakurai said that hes using code from Melee in Brawl, so there's a chance that the physics engine could be an exact, if not extremely-close copy of the one in Melee. I have no doubts that Brawl will be awesome.

The kind of wierdo who wants comments and realises the easiest way to do this is through Youtube?
Besides you wouldn't hear the music on a picture. Not that the music suited the vid in anyway.

I don't think any of them look bad. Just the likelyhood of there appearance is small.
