Can anyone help me?
I've been trying to do the thunder jacket for quite a while now, but I can't seem to get it.
I've been doing 1 hit from u-smash, shfflada, run of the edge, pkt really close to the edge, but nothing happens.
Am I doing something wrong?

You just failed at doing the yoyo glitch. Remember you have to slightly charge the smash. Also, I think you don't have to do an ADA, but I'm not sure about that

Thanks Thieum, I just got it to work. I think you were right about the charge smash, but i'm pretty sure you need the dair.

Thunder jacket is a glitch that Ness can do. Basically you want to charge an u-smash so it hits the opponent with the charge and not the actual attack. It's important that you only hit once. After the u-smash do a shfflada and run off of the edge. As soon as you leave the stage guide pkt into yourself so you grab the edge. Make sure you are close to the edge when you start. Then run at your opponent and they should take a fairly big hit. =)

Well it's just the hitbox of the PK Thunder that clash cancels most attacks. Not all attacks though
syeb >>> Look for Ness yoyo glitch or thunder jacket on Youtube

Oh. Is that all?
So if I did it would the jacket last for the whole match?

If I'm right, you can touch once each character on stage. Until you touch them, the hibox will protect you from most attacks. But once you touch a char, he'll be able to hit you as usual, whereas it's still efficient against the others I think this is what happens, but I've never really tested it so I may be wrong

You guys have this pretty much all wrong. To perform the yoyo glitch, you do a slightly charged usmash so that only the charging part hits the opponent. If done correctly, ness will drop a hitbox on the ground. If you look in AR, there's literally a little red dot on the ground. Now, if an opponent hits that, they will get hit by it, and judging from the meager affect on the opponent, it's probably part of ness's upsmash. Anyway. Now that you have your dropped hitbox, there's a number of things you can do. 1: Mega-range attacks: Using the yoyo glitch correctly, you can hit someone with an attack even if you're literally across the stage. All you need to do is drop a hitbox, and make it so your enemy is BETWEEN you and the hitbox. When ness does an attack, it flies towards him, and anything it hits in its way will get hit by ness's attack. If it's a normal attack, it will hit all opponents. If it's a grab, it'll hit just the first one. 2: Spike jacket: It's pretty simple. After dropping a hitbox, simply short hop and do a down air (the spike) so that nothing is between you and the hitbox. After doing this spike, there will be a spike hitbox attached to you, and anything you touch will get hit by your spike. 3: Thunder Jacket: The thunder jacket is the same as the spike jacket, but just a lot more complicated. Like normal, you drop a hitbox and make sure nothing is in between you and the hitbox. Now you need to make ness hit him self with the PK thunder. However, you need to do it in a certain way. When you hit yourself with the PK thunder, ness must CRASH into the ground. This includes double jumping and then aiming it so you hit the groudn straight on, or simply running off the ledge and aiming it so you sweetspot the ledge. After you successfully do this, there will be a PK thunder hitbox, and anyone who touches you will get hit as if ness had hit himself with a PK thunder and hit them. In other words, major damage.

I don't think there's any way to make your self invincible...maybe someone said invincible when talking about the thunder jacket because it makes you hurt people when you hit them?

It's not invincibility, it's priority

So what does out-prioritize the thunder jacket?

It's not invincibility, it's priority If it was priority it would clank cancel the attack right? Cause from what I've read...it's just not hitting at all.
