A different type question this time. I will give 2 days to answer the question. The first person to post after exactly 2 days has passed since this post will get the question. The karma will be awarded later:
Who will win the World Series, who will lose and how many games will it take?
2 Karma for guessing the winner correctly 5 Karma for guessing the winner and loser correctly 10 karma for guessing all 3 correctly
Multiple can get karma in this one.
One more thing: You only get one post, and you cannot edit your post or it will not count.
Good luck =)

Only 4 hours left to give an answer It's not that hard to just guess <_<.
1/4 chance of getting 2 karma If you get the 2 karma, you have 50% of getting 5 If you get the 5 you have 25% of getting 10.

Wow, no one even guessed. No one gets the question or karma. I guess I'll come up with another one later....

Please do not edit my karma in any way, or bad karma will come upon you IRL. >_>;
So that you cheaters can't look it up in wikipedia and because I'm studying for this right now.
A pendulum made of weightless string and a sphere is able to swing in a vertical plane. The epndulum is released at a position of 55 degrees from the vertical (which is if the string is at rest perpindicular to the ground). The string then hits a peg located a distance D below the point of suspension and rotates about the peg. Find the smallest value D (highest peg position) so that the sphere will swing in a full circle centered on the peg. Answer in m.
Information: the string length is 10 m. the weight of the ball on the pendulum is 1.7 kg. acceleration of gravity is 9.8 m/s^2
I just figured this problem out, and I am happy.
If r1k actually posts a question, ignore this one.
once again. DO NOT ALTER MY KARMA IN ANY WAY, SHAPE, or FORM.

R1K, Post a question, please, that one that Nevake posted Is Impossible >__>

it's impossible unless you are currently taking physics or have a good deal of knowledge on the subject. even if someone knows how to do it, I doubt they would spend their time doing it for a karma quiz <_<

Meters Instead of m >_>
"Smallest value *of* D" Instead of "Smallest value D" >_>
Pendulum Instead of Epndulum >_>

fine =P
pendulum instead of epndulum
once again(he puts a period instead of a comma) DO NOT ALTER MY KARMA IN ANY WAY, SHAPE, or FORM.
SoS, the 2 you said are just how things are written in physics

I haven't done pendulum problems in a while, so I forget all the forumlas, and I'm too lazy to check my notes, but is it 9.0957m below the PoS?
I didn't use the weight of the ball or gravity, so it's probably wrong >_> If I had my formula sheet I could probably do it
