Awesome strat, i would have never thought of that *exalts* heres mine: Final destination, cpu bowser. Start bowser with 0% damage, get him in middle of stage. Pk fire him. When he reaches around 50-60%, He starts to rise. I then jump, pk fire him and hit the floor. Continually do so. I then jumped, forgot to pk fire and it got me 106. Should i try something else or is this alright?

Yay! I got 95 combos with Ness. I don't know if you should try something else bcause I stink at training mode. Perhaps you could do the red shell trick? *exalts Sos*

Thank you for the Fox/Falco tactic, Ravenlord. I should try it out.
Your Donkey Kong score intrigues me, though. What strategy did you use? Did it involve the Wall Bounce technique?
As for Mr. Game & Watch, he is among my lowest scores (750 combos). I wish that I had an easier strategy, but I used the more tedious Wall Bounce technique on Hyrule Temple. I'm sorry that I cannot help you further.....
Despite this, I appreciate all of the help that you gave. It means a lot.

I believe that the strategy was already posted on Page One. I may be wrong.

I believe that the strategy was already posted on Page One. I may be wrong. No, its there. I can't seem to do it. Do i have to be completely surrounded by blocks? And i keep getting bomb blocks

Ya, i did use the strat on that little platform on hyrule with a parasol for DK, i dunno at what % i resetted..
As for the 276-Combo glitch, u have to form an U of blocks, get 2 CPUs in, then fill it with red shells and jump

Ravenlord, I tried exactly what you did concerning the Fox/Falco tactic. However, the lone Ice Climber ends up moving to the right as I reflect the Super Scope bullets. Even while crouching, it moves away from the beam. How do I prevent this? Or am I doing something wrong with the strategy?
The most combos that I was able to gain before the Ice Climber escaped the beam was around 200 combos.....

you have to crouch and hold a bit left, just a bit
if you dont wanna hold that..
a trick:
- unplug your controller - hold the controll stick completely up and a bit right - plug the controller in - the IC should move a bit left if you jump and crouch if you do nothing

I did exactly everything that you suggested. However, the lone Ice Climber still escapes the beam. After about 300%, the knockback is too much and the Ice Climber pops up. Am I supposed to reset the damage? I hope that the Version of the game does not matter.
Maybe I am not visually interpreting your strategy correctly...sorry for the trouble...is there a video clip where I can see if I am doing anything wrong?

{sigh}...the lone Ice Climber still moves only right.....not once did it ever move left when inside the beam...no fair...the video was very helpful, but I still cannot make Nana move to the left......I can only simulate the first thirty seconds. I appreciate everything that you did, though. But I guess that I cannot perform the strategy.
It seems weird. I made sure that Nana crouched while using DI towards the left. But the same effect occurs.

Marth idea:
CPU: Bowser
stage: Hyrule Temple
1. Have Bowser go to the left of the bottom platform between 2 pillars
2. There is a ledge
3. Roll to the left
4. Have Marth be on the right
5. Set the damage to 195-200%
6. Start tapping A and reset the damage every 20 combos

Well, I finally gained the Fox and Falco World Records, without the Black Hole Glitch.
As of now, my total is a little over 457,000 combos. I hope to reach 500,000 in the near future.
Thank you, everyone, for putting up with my constant annoying questions.....

I have some advice. For bowser, do the infinite flame. It doesn't seem to work on OV (what I have), so if you have OV I'll give you the OV flame strat I made.
For Ness, I used his down tilt. Bring Pichu to fourside and have him DI downward in the corner on the tiny platform in the middle of the big building. Then have ness on the right side of Pichu and down-tilt away. I think it infinites, it keeps going after 999 at least, though maybe something weird happens after like 2k (I have 1k). The same should work for Pikachu / Pichu neutral a's.

Seraph Seal, can you tell me the wall bounce strat? I read about it before but I cant remember anu of it =/ The idea is pretty simple. Just look at my Mario, Peach, and Ganondorf runs. hosted.filefront.com/SeraphSeal/1673916You can also find other Training Mode runs that I performed. Basically, you try to keep Bowser in the air throughout the whole time that you play. By hitting him between the two center walls in Hyrule Temple, you can gain combos. Make sure to reset the damage to keep him inside the walls.
