really nice stage 2 but you can get like 180k with Falco on Stage 10. After 8 aerials spam laser for the rest of the time as BCL did in his Adventure run Jiggs 1366300 ... guess if I got collector ?! >___> I'll go for 1.4 mio today Edit: Samus 1415050 terrible run (I gave up on Jiggs for now >_>)

SW: Looks like you're never going to get your "Super Secret Mewtwo Classic" strat. in because of Brawl. Or am I wrong and you've been trying it out secretly for the past few months.

tbh, I completely forgot about it^^ I tried it a few hours after I had the idea. A few times it was really close but it never worked =( well, I think noone will try it or be able to pull it off or is even interested in anyways, and you already know it But I did another Classic speedrun today: www.youtube.com/watch?v=N1ZtUMHHYhc

I did an Adventure run for the first time in forever today (with Zelda). I can't get a good score though. I wrote down my scores at the end of each stage, so maybe someone can tell me where I'm losing the most points plz. ;D 1-1 - 2182710 1-2 - 2277320 2-1 - 2373820 2-2 - 2461020 3-1 - 2819520 3-2 - 2880620 4-1 - 2981520 4-2 - 3000720 5-1 - 3083120 5-2 - 3212920 5-3 - 3326420 6-1 - 3396320 6-2 - 3466220 7-1 - 3549920 8-1 - 3606420 8-2 - 3673720 9-1 - 3756120 10-1 - 3830020 11-1 - 3950870 11-2 - 4077270 12-1 - 4196470 I'm over 600k below the world record. I lost easy points from screwing up Perfect/Precise Aim, Impervious, Never Look Back, etc on a lot of these, but I don't think they add up to more than 100k, so there's got to be some strategy I'm missing. Help?

Its been a while since I played Adventure with Shiek but there're a few things I noticed about your score. in generally, fwd b is your friend =) you can use it on 1-2, 5-3, 12-1 and especially on 11-1 for 200k+ (iirc ) Also in my PR run I got 670k on 3-1, double/triple-d-smash-hits ftw Edit: not sure where to post this but can anyone explain me in detail how the grab-beam-thing with Samus works ?^^

Thanks SW. I didn't think Chain would yield that much damage, but I guess it would. Maybe I'll try another run later today. I'll edit the result into this post. ;D I did the dsmash strat on 3-1, but the Triforce was in the last place I looked (of course ) so that ate a lot of my dsmashing time. For Samus, are you talking about the extended Grapple beam? Just rapidly tap the Z button while quickly mashing back and forth on the dpad. Edit: Zelda Adventure 1-1 - 217296 1-2 - 2246296 (so much for Chain being a good strat ) 2-1 - 2392096 2-2 - 2436996 3-1 - 2869848 3-2 - 2961746 4-1 - 3064646 4-2 - 3090646 5-1 - 3183716 5-2 - 3314616 5-3 - 3392716 (Chain didn't pay off here either) 6-1 - 3471816 6-2 - 3557516 7-1 - 3643716 8-1 - 3694916 8-2 - 3774916 9-1 - 3846016 10-1 - 3924016 11-1 - 4025036 11-2 - 4185836 (Chain paid off) 12-1 - 4314436 (Chain paid off) I'm going to do one more run tomorrow, and combined everything that worked and removed everything that didn't, then I'm moving on to a different character.

ah sorry, I meant 11-2, not 11-1 >____> 10-1 is a nice chain stage as well. Maybe you can use saturns on 9-1. I was never able to get a very good score that way, but a constant 100k+ btw, do you do button holder on every non-b-required stage ? And, if a fan appears on 11-2 or 12-1, use it instead of chain Edit: how did you get 150k on 2-1 ?

The extended grapple was removed in PAL. If you have NTSC just rotate the D-pad while mashing Z. If you do it with an aerial grapple it is like 10x easier.
More specifically, you just have to input Z, up, down, up, Z within like half a second or something like that.
