I got a new controller for my birthday because my old one's joystick grip fell off and it was hurting my thumb. I'm noticing with the new one the same crap that my wavebird is giving me: my SHL's with Falco will frequently go in the opposite direction that I want, wavedashing is significantly harder, and it's annoying. I know it's something I'll eventually have to get used to, but do you guys have any specific tips for breaking in a new controller, preferably very quickly because I have some big tourney's coming up? :\

When I had to do this recently I played troug Classic and did those beginner strats in stadium. I know it sounds weird, but I was back to my old self in about a week.
