It's already on Youtube, but you can upload it if you want. Just be sure to say that it's not made by you, and say that it was made by 'pyh189'.

Speaking of speed runs... Pyh, could you upload your Majora's Mask speed run on youtube. I know Youtube won't erally host it all, segments would be nice. <_<;
I'm not allowed to download anything on this computer, so I get all of my viewing from streaming. =<
You'd be uber forever (even more than you already are for making smashvids) and ever.

Ok sure, since you're such an active participant of my forum and keep things going nicely. Now when I think about the run, I think I rushed it a little bit, and it probably isn't as optimized as it could have been. My main goal though was sub 3:40 and to improve TSA's run because his wasn't really that phenomenal. I think my first few segments weren't really that great either because I was pretty nervous since it was my first run. I picked up the playing quality after Woodfall temple though. Coincidentally, segments 1-4 were recorded with crappy tapes so you might see some glitches and weird sound. After that, I used much better tapes. Also, a multitude of new tricks were found since I made this run, and sub-3 hours is probably possible. Note that I uploaded the low quality ones but they're good enough Segment 1 - Pre-clocktownwww.youtube.com/watch?v=EnpOGrFm9aUI cut off the beginning cutscenes because itll make my upload faster. This was an okay segment, with slight movement errors here and there, such as missing a dive in a flower and spinning into a pole near the end. Segment 2 - Clocktown 1st cyclePart 1: www.youtube.com/watch?v=iQiHwH0yN2EPart 2: www.youtube.com/watch?v=O8_qRvy-PoIIt's split up into 2 parts because of the 10 min limit. Overall it's a decent segment. I get the bomber code in advance before I do this segment, skipping the stupid hide and seek game. A few mistakes were some minor movement errors hopping across the water in the underground passage. Segment 3 - Clocktown to Swampwww.youtube.com/watch?v=sCayn3Gcg1o9 minutes filled with annoying cutscenes and relatively little action. Originally I had segment 2 end after the Deku mask but I accidentally overwrote my save file sometime later and had to redo from the last Song of Time. I also had this part and the southern swamp as 1 segment, but for my sanity's sake I decided to split it up and save at the swamp owl statue. This segment definitely isn't one of my best because of tons of little movement mistakes (and tape glitches); I just wanted to get to the end since I was pissed after overwriting my save. In the end, my playing quality for 3 and 4 was actually better than my old one, to give you an idea how bad my first swamp segment was. Segment 4 - Southern Swamp, Deku Palace, To WoodfallPart 1: www.youtube.com/watch?v=vLRzFLbiqjQPart 2: www.youtube.com/watch?v=JnnIYdjJZNwThe Swamp is one of the hardest segments to get perfect, and probably one of the most underestimated. The timed hops across water...the palace guards...the deku flowers...and worst of all, the f**king dragonflies... I was glad just to get from start to finish without a major hitch. The segment started out pretty good. During the palace, I was too hesitant going past the guards because they are so random (many attempts obviously ended during this point). But after the Sonata of Awakening, it went downhill very quickly, so much so that it's one of the lowest points of my run. Because the dragonflies knock me down like 3/4 times, I was extremely cautious. I kept it since this is such a difficult and frustrating part. Segment 5 - Woodfall TemplePart 1: www.youtube.com/watch?v=wvJFgbQbdx4Part 2: www.youtube.com/watch?v=vMHA7dvES8QOne enemy determines the outcome of this segment: dragonflies. I get past that dragonfly room only about 60% my attempts. In the last room, I got fed up and just shot one of them down. Other than the strange mistakes in the dark 3 torch room (usually I get it really smoothly), and the camera mess-up after gekko, the segment went pretty well. I know you can shoot the torch without hitting the switch but it's difficult, and by the time I line it up I might as well hit the switch. More later...

Thanks, pyh. I'll watch a few runs today. Unfortunately I can't see them all at one time. I'm going to a friends later. They don't really have internet. I'll be there for a few days.
I just finished the first 2 segments. They are both very nice. Why don't you backwalk? I hear it's a little faster.

Yeah I know backwalking is faster, I should've done it as Link in the very beginning. However, in Clocktown, there isn't a lot of straight line walking. Deku spins are also almost as fast as Deku backwalking. Segment 6 - Mt. Village, Goron ShrinePart 1: www.youtube.com/watch?v=R790vyIho4QPart 2: www.youtube.com/watch?v=q3MwdSJVpiEThis part of the game is obviously much easier, so this was a much better segment. The only tiny mistake was that I sort of lost my position while talking to baby Goron (I'll blame it on bad camera angles ). Segment 7 – Great Bay, Pirates' FortressPart 1: www.youtube.com/watch?v=-taSuro11woPart 2: www.youtube.com/watch?v=LL0qcY3js1AThe sequence breaks begin here! Not a bad segment if I say so myself. I mistimed the first dolphin jump just by a little, losing a few seconds. I know there's a better way to dodge the guards but I didn't know it at the time. The ventilation area went really well until the end, when I hit a mine by accident. I have no idea why I did a rolling jump. I'm very glad that I hit the beehive in 1 shot; usually it takes like 2-4. That barrel mishap was just stupid.

Segments 3 and 4 are awesome. I'm done watching them today. *has to get ready real soon*
Maybe I'll speed run this game. Granted that I can find my game. <_<

Sidestepping seems fast >_> Side stepping is fast. I used it 5 years ago when I needed to cross Hyrule Field. Of course I would jump a lot. So it was like a bunch of side step jumps. <_<;...

It's a new trick that FierceLinkMaster found (well aKA discovered it in oot with nayru's love, but FLM found how to do it with bombs) which might actually be the fastest travel. It might be faster than Epona and Goron rolling too, but nobody has timed it or anything. Demonstration by FLM (many examples): www.paperpengo.com/Zelda/OoT-%20MM%20Super%20Sliding.divxDemonstration by Dekudude (1 instance): www.youtube.com/watch?v=S_mwLtrKPh0This trick in OoT combined with hover boots lets you cross a lot of gaps, even to Ganon's castle

nev - sidehopping is fast, but not as fast as backwalking syeb - 18 segments Segment 8 – Snowhead TemplePart 1: www.youtube.com/watch?v=sON7SJJttsIPart 2: www.youtube.com/watch?v=ML5xD0UrfakAside from the beginning where I almost fell off, this is probably my best segment. Everything after the Goron Lullaby cutscene was done very well, including the Goht battle, which I could only get to work about 60% of the time. I kept it despite the beginning because I probably couldn't do the temple better. (1/4 of the time I couldn't even get into the temple without falling off the narrow ledges >_>). Thanks to StrangenessDSS for the great temple route (although a small time saver was found later). Segment 9 - Powder Keg, Goron Race, Rupees, Alien Invasion, Gilded SwordPart 1: www.youtube.com/watch?v=vttgNX0OQvgPart 2: www.youtube.com/watch?v=IQajlE8xmPYThis segment just contains some in-between stuff in preparation for later areas. There's no huge mistakes here that I know of. My alien shooting wasn't great but it doesn't matter because it's a timed event. My only goal was to finish. I liked how I went through the Goron race without hitting anything. Segment 10 - To Ikana Canyonwww.youtube.com/watch?v=94huu-jTjWAWant to see sequence breaks? This segment is filled with them, including the trick that allows poor Epona to be left in the ranch. I think I should've done this segment faster though; some parts look too hesitant. Laugh at my hookshot attempt, one of the worst mistakes in my run. Segment 11 - Pirates' Fortress 2nd Visitwww.youtube.com/watch?v=74hqpBUIFHUMy personal favorite. I broke up the egg collecting into 2 different parts because Pirates' fortress contains a few tricks I don't want to mess up. This segment was pretty much flawless except for 1 missed arrow on the pirate. Segment 12 - Pinnacle Rock, New Wave Bossa Nova, Final Ikana PrepPart 1: www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q5wHAiiiGxwPart 2: www.youtube.com/watch?v=t4ZZ5ZmPcpkSegment went well; nothing to talk about. More later...

Just finished segment 7. It looks very nice. I liked the trick that allowed you to enter the great Bay early. Segment 8 was amazing. I was unaware you could skip so much of that dungeon. The boxx fight was really neat too.

thanks Segment 13 - Graveyardwww.youtube.com/watch?v=bVNcfANdm48Good segment. I got hit once during the Keeta battle but that was BS since my sword swing should've hit, oh well. Segment 14 - Gibdo Mask, Beneath the Well, Ikana CastlePart 1: www.youtube.com/watch?v=_aUuKSGphO0Part 2: www.youtube.com/watch?v=ypAaYLoTpTII think this was decent. I got confused by a few messed up camera angles during the well causing me to walk a couple steps away from doors. I could've gone past the spikes faster by simply rolling past them but that slipped my mind at the time. I also almost got caught by a wallmaster which I didn't even realize while playing >_>. In the castle, I make a bad jump and hit the spikes, losing a few seconds. I liked my execution of the sequence break, however. Props to TSA for first figuring it out. Ikana king battle was alright, more props to TSA for the hilarious but effective strategy. Segment 15 - Stone Tower Temple Part 1Part 1: www.youtube.com/watch?v=mgxbvt2BmY0Part 2: www.youtube.com/watch?v=wvE4GINoL2gScaling was easy, went well. I wasted 5 seconds waiting for a stupid bombchu to come and hit me but it never did. That dolphin flip is probably the hardest in the game since the platform is pretty high. I think I held the light on the mirror a bit long, but I hate that room and I didn't want to run out of light and restart. Missed the first jumpslash on Garo Master by 1cm...bleh. Overall still a decent segment. more soon

I watched Segments 9-15 today. They were amazing. Getting into Ikana Canyon and Skipping most of the Stone Tower Temple kicked ass.
I'll watch 16 and 17 later.
