I like this item. It definately gives speedy chars an advantage though. Which only gives me reason to believe that there will be an item that has more benefit to the slow, stronger chars than to the speedy chars.... but what could it be?

^Maybe the item slows the characters a little down and have a bigger effect on the faster/weaker characters because the extra weight affects them more?

Today we see Pit. It does tell you some things about his weapons, but nothing unexpected.

Todays updating was yawn.
I couldn't help but wondering if they meant you could control the arrow like with ness pk thunder or if you could just aim in different directions while holding the fire button (most likely b) down.

That's what I thought. =\

That arrow power will be insane for edge guarding.

Pit's special moves?
It tells you one move, which it told you last time -____-
It also tells you that Pit has multiple jumps, which was obvious from the vids >_>

... Special moves = B moves phazon >_>
neutral B is his arrow and UpB makes him fly.

Well... Pit's broken. =/
He's too powerful.
- Insane recovery - Light speed arrows for unfair edge guarding - What seems to be a multi-attack AFA (short hop, AFA, tap A, repeat smash, crazy arrow) - He seems rather fast
I'm afraid to see the other new characers' abilities.

He doesn't seem that fast. More like samus speed... He could be broken, but he could also be really bad. It's hard to be sure of how the moves will work before seeing them in action. We don't really know how well the UpB is for recovery yet for example. Maybe it can almost only send you straight up like marths upB.

How can you be sure he is broken?
Other characters may be just as good. He is probably a very light character aswell.

I thought this from the trailers. Pit is the new Fox.

I'd rather have Pit be the new Fox than Fox stay Fox >_>

I imagine Fox being one of the worst. Pikachu, Kirby and Ness were the best in SSB, but in SSBM they are very bad.

Pit Rules!
But I hope he isn't as fast as Fox. As I find him really hard to control.

Pikachu and Kirby were both top tier, but tiers didnt matter as much in that game, as long as you had a good knowledge of combos, how to set them up and who to use them on.

Wasn't Ness also top tier?

Don't you guys just love it, when the site says updated daily and yet it hasn't been updated today ^____^.

It usually updates one hour after the time you made that post... The update wasn't very interesting though. But i guess it was nice to get confirmed that it really just is an item and that means it can be turned off.

Thanks Stelzig. I'll be more patient next time I wanna know some other characters final smashes. Does it change the camera angle like in the movie?

Hmm. Someone just noted me that it still isn't placed under items, but under how to play. Now i am again not sure if it is "just" an item. Probably nothing to think about, but it has made me a little worried again

So... The super scope is back. I wonder if the infinite ammo glitch is too B)

Post by Phazon on May 30, 2007 2:29:25 GMT -5
That's insane >_>
You use superscope and walk up to your opponent and smash attack them. What can they do?
They say they've added more than super scope, maybe ray gun is back?
BTW, how long do you guys think you will play with items before you turn them off? Unless there's a zoompie reason to keep them on longer I will probably use them for about a week.
